I am currently an inmate at the Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, Texas. I was sentenced to 70 months and have completed 30 months of my sentence. I am currently in the RDAP program that will prepare me for my release. I am working to improve my life and make the right choices once released.  I am a high school graduate and a certified nurse aide. I have experience working as a CNA at a Children’s Methodist Hospital. I currently am the Head Cook at the prison. I supervise the other cooks and we prepare meals for over 900 inmates. I enjoy cooking and when released, I would like to attend Culinary Arts Classes to learn how to prepare all types of meals.  During my prison time I have taken the opportunity to improve my overall physical and mental health. I am a happy and caring person. I have a huge sense of humor and enjoy making people laugh. At night, I enjoy a good word search puzzle. I work daily to stay healthy and keep my body in shape. I exercise and run daily to maintain my weight and overall health. Running is a way for me to relax and focus on my goals. I can reflect on the accomplishments when in prison and what I would like to accomplish once released. I am competitive and enjoy playing a good game of volleyball. I am a huge fan of Wonder Woman and the San Antonio Spurs.  Once released, I am looking forward to being home with my family. I will live each day, make good choices. I will leave the past and live for my future, making each day count.
