For the past several years, I served as a mentor and advocate for parents facing issues such as homelessness, drug/alcohol dependency, criminal convictions, and having their children removed by child services. I had overcome quite a few issues of my own, and my job consisted of me sharing my experiences to help others turn their life around. But then I lost myself - which is why I am here...

I am really excited to meet new people as pen pals. Federal prison is very new to me. It can be lonely and time moves so slowly - I need friends to take my mind off where I am.
